Creamy homemade hummus with sliced cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, and celery for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 carrots, cut into sticks
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced

Steps

  1. Blend chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Add 2 to 3 tbsp water to reach desired consistency. Season with salt and cumin.
  3. Transfer hummus to a shallow bowl and drizzle with extra olive oil.
  4. Arrange vegetables around the bowl and serve.
